Hematite & Bamboo Coral

I was having a hard time using my Bamboo Coral beads.  Nothing seemed to work with their colour to make them stand out and I was trying to find an interesting way to work the wires instead of just plain old straights.  When I first try out a new design style, I always work it out in copper first as the silver and gold are so dear.  This is how I came up with the Copper & Hematite together and I really love the look.  The Hematite stones shimmer in striking jewel tones.

Studs and fusing

I've mastered making stud ear wires!  They can be worn alone or have dangles - long or short attached.  One of the benefit of the studs is that you don't have a long ear wire hanging down behind your ear.  One of my customers didn't like the look of the long ear wire, so I tried to find something to accommodate her.

I also finally got the nerve to try fusing Argentium Silver wire.  With copper, brass, and sterling silver, you need to use solder to join the ends in a ring (a ring of wire).  With fine silver and Argentium silver you don't need the solder, just heat, the ends will fuse, and you will have a seamless and strong ring!
